Little Miracles is a C&K affiliated centre and as such we follow the C&K Building Waterfalls Curriculum. This is a play based curriculum which allows for learning in a variety of ways. We believe that learning should be fun and meaningful for children and therefore we offer your child an enriched environment so they can initiate and maintain their own learning.

At Little Miracles we also believe in the importance of early learning in preparing your children for school. We aim to provide a learning environment which will enable your child to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful transition to school. WHAT IS C&K?

  • C&K stands for Creche and Kindergarten and was established in 1907.
  • C&K is proud to be the largest established early childhood education provider in Queensland
  • C&K is a community based non-profit organisation and are the only association with credentials of a standard high enough to be recognised and funded by Education Queensland.
  • C&K’s highest priority is what is best for the children – there are no private shareholders.

The Building Waterfalls Curriculum:
  • The curriculum acknowledges that children do not learn in isolation.
  • It is a collaborative process.
  • Building waterfalls acknowledges the important role adults – educators and parents other children and the physical environment play in children’s learning.
  • Building waterfalls recognises’ children as competent and capable learners, and the significant role adults play in optimising and enhancing children’s living and learning experiences.
  • Adults and children share responsibility for the learning process through interaction, negotiation, and collaboration.
